Executive – Accounting & Reporting Assurance

About the role

Deloitte Mauritius is looking for an Executive to join its Accounting & Reporting Assurance (ARA) team. You will work directly with clients to ensure their financial statements are accurate, compliant with IFRS, and reflect the latest accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS and other relevant standards.
• Advise clients on complex accounting issues such as mergers, restructurings and new reporting requirements.
• Assist in consolidating financial data for group companies.
• Collaborate with clients to improve finance processes and controls.
• Draft technical memoranda, accounting manuals and detailed reports.
• Mentor and support junior staff members.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in accounting standards and guide clients on their application.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACAS.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
