Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Group Finance team in Mauritius. In this role you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, support audits and strengthen controls while providing high‑quality financial information for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare working papers, gather documentation and assist with transaction sampling for external audits.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close activities, including routine account and balance‑sheet reconciliations and management of inter‑company accounts in a multi‑currency environment.
• Prepare consolidation journals and contribute to the drafting of Group consolidated financial statements and notes in accordance with IFRS.
• Produce financial and management reports, support intermediate holding‑company balance‑sheet preparation and assist with Group Finance projects.

Required profile

• Ambitious accountant with experience in a fast‑paced finance team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SUN Systems.
• Solid technical accounting skills with a good understanding of IFRS.
