Financial Analyst – Accounting

About the role

SD Worx is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its international Accounting Department. The role involves managing the company’s financial records, processing transactions, and preparing accurate financial reports while collaborating with colleagues across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily cash book entries and handle invoices, accounts receivable and payable.
• Reconcile customer and supplier accounts and perform monthly intercompany netting.
• Compute monthly provisions for bad debts and prepare journal entries.
• Conduct general ledger reconciliation and assist with intercompany reconciliation.
• Respond to supplier and customer queries and manage the supplier mailbox.
• Process asset additions and retirements, run depreciation schedules.
• Support quarterly audit file schedule preparation.
• Collaborate with global accounting team members.

Required profile

• ACCA Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong business acumen, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proactive, motivated attitude and ability to work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Experience with global ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (nice to have).
• Understanding of foreign currency bookkeeping (nice to have).
