Front Office Receptionist – Boutique Hotel

About the role

Join the front office team at Constance Sakoa Boutik, a boutique beachfront hotel in Mauritius. As a Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm and professional welcome while ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, handle check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Process reservations, cancellations, amendments and room allocations.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Respond to guest requests, queries and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Answer telephone calls, manage guest e‑mail correspondence and process payments.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other departments to fulfil guest needs.
• Maintain accurate front‑office records, handle keys/cards securely and ensure confidentiality of guest information.
• Uphold hotel policies, health and safety standards and maintain a professional appearance.

Required profile

• Minimum School Certificate (SC) or equivalent; hospitality or tourism diploma is a plus.
• Previous experience in a hotel front office is advantageous.
• Good command of English and French.
• Basic computer knowledge.
