Fund Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Fund Accountant to join our global fund administration team in Trianon, Mauritius. This permanent position offers the chance to work with hedge funds and private equity clients, preparing NAV packs and financial statements while supporting audit and transfer‑agency activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for hedge funds on the frequency required by clients, with optional review.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account/financial statements as required.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Handle transfer‑agency transactions when needed.
• Maintain overall client relationships, respond to inquiries and attend meetings.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of accounting experience (fund industry experience a plus).
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue is advantageous.
• Strong time‑management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work extra hours when required.
• Good interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
