Fund Accountant

About the role

Apex Group is seeking a motivated Fund Accountant to join its global fund administration team. You will support private equity and hedge fund clients by delivering accurate NAV reporting and financial statements while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity and hedge funds on required frequencies.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for client funds.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Execute transfer agency transactions as needed.
• Manage client inquiries, attend meetings, and uphold service standards.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or holding an equivalent accounting designation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue is advantageous.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
