Fund Accountant – Private Equity (Permanent)

About the role

Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Private Equity team in Trianon, Mauritius. This permanent position offers the chance to work with a leading global fund administrator and support a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity funds according to client frequency.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual account/financial statements.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Execute transfer agency transactions as required.
• Maintain overall client relationships, handling inquiries and meetings.

Required profile

• Approximately 1 year of accounting experience; fund industry experience is a plus.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus, or Allvue.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work extra hours when needed and a collaborative team attitude.
