Fund Accounting Manager

About the role

This permanent, hybrid position leads a team of fund administrators delivering day‑to‑day accounting and reporting for private equity, real estate, private credit and fund‑of‑funds portfolios. The manager ensures accurate financial records, meets client deadlines, and upholds JTC’s professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise fund administrators handling accounting and reporting for multiple asset classes.
• Allocate staff and manage workflow to meet client deadlines.
• Review general‑ledger activity, cash movements, wire transfers and bank reconciliations.
• Interpret partnership agreements, distribution waterfalls and allocation rules.
• Oversee quarterly accounting packages and partner capital statements.
• Participate in audit planning and support external auditors.
• Maintain client relationships and respond to ad‑hoc queries.
• Ensure compliance with risk, AML and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional designation such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of experience in fund accounting or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and related regulatory standards.
• Proven team‑leadership and coaching abilities.
