Fund Accounting Manager – Private Equity/Real Estate

About the role

The Fund Accounting Manager (PE/RE) will lead the delivery of fund accounting services to a portfolio of clients and oversee a team of professionals. You will ensure high‑quality, on‑time service, manage client relationships, and act as the first escalation point for issues.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively deliver all fund accounting services to assigned clients, adhering to published processes, procedures and controls.
• Manage client entity directorships and day‑to‑day accounting activities.
• Coordinate internal and external subcontractors to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Serve as the primary escalation contact for client issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Lead, coach, and engage the accounting team, fostering a performance‑driven culture while maintaining work‑life balance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing fund accounting functions for private equity or real‑estate clients.
• Strong client‑service orientation with the ability to handle complex queries.
• Proven leadership skills, capable of motivating and developing a team.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
