Governance, Risk and Compliance Administrator, Group

About the role

Hawksford is hiring a Governance, Risk and Compliance Administrator to join its Shared Service support team in Moka, Mauritius, supporting the Group's GRC teams. The role works closely with senior management, including the Head of AML Services and the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officers (AMLCOs).

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior management in funding entities while assessing and monitoring compliance risks.
• Review and evaluate compliance issues and escalate material ones to the AMLCOs.
• Help draft AMLCO reports and client entity risk assessments.
• Carry out CDD and other reviews, perform controls testing and help prepare test reports with recommendations and action plans.
• Monitor and track action plans to closure and help prepare board reporting (Administrator and Periodic Reviews).
• Monitor breaches, complaints and errors, keep compliance tracking records and follow them to closure.
• Maintain the schedule of activities and deliverables for client fund entities under AMLCO responsibilities.
• Handle ad-hoc compliance and risk tasks as needed.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a compliance and risk function preferred.
• Business-level written and spoken English.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adapt to different regulatory requirements, a can-do attitude and team spirit.

Required skills

• Excellent IT skills, including Excel and data management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
