Head of Laundry – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and organised Head of Laundry to lead all laundry operations at our luxury resort, Constance Prince Maurice. The role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, quality and efficiency, supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily laundry processes including washing, drying, pressing and folding of linens and guest garments.
• Lead, supervise and develop the laundry team, providing direction and performance feedback.
• Maintain rigorous quality control standards and manage inventory of linens, chemicals and supplies.
• Coordinate maintenance of industrial laundry equipment to minimise downtime.
• Develop efficient scheduling systems and monitor departmental budgets, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Liaise with other departments to understand specific laundry requirements and resolve issues promptly.
• Implement sustainable laundry practices and maintain detailed operational records.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing laundry operations in hospitality or large‑scale commercial environments.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong people and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations related to laundry.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards.
