Health & Safety Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Health & Safety Analyst to ensure compliance with Section 30 of the OSHA Act. The role is based on‑site and acts as a liaison between management and employees, monitoring occupational health and safety standards and providing technical advice.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and supervise safety controls, preventive measures and protective arrangements across the workplace.
• Conduct monthly workplace inspections, record findings in the risk register and recommend improvements.
• Lead risk assessments, safety audits and detailed inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Deliver mandatory safety training, maintain statutory training records and facilitate bi‑monthly safety committee meetings.
• Investigate accidents, complaints and near‑miss incidents, producing written reports with recommendations.
• Assist in emergency preparedness planning, including evacuation procedures and incident response.
• Verify provision, proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor first‑aid, pharmaceutical and fire‑safety equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and compile monthly HSE reports for management.

Required profile

• Registered Safety & Health Officer certified by a recognized body.
• Strong administrative abilities and experience working in agile, 7‑day operational environments.
• In‑depth knowledge of local OHS laws and the OSHA Act Section 30 requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for training delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance procedures.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Proficiency in maintaining safety documentation and reporting.
