Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator

About the role

The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Coordinator will support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of HSE management systems across all company operations. This role works closely with site teams to ensure compliance with policies, legislation and best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Support deployment and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures and management plans on project sites.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor compliance with applicable legislation, regulations and company requirements.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions and participate in root‑cause analysis.
• Track corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, awareness campaigns and training sessions.
• Collect, analyse and report HSE performance indicators.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records and legal compliance registers.
• Liaise with site management, employees, contractors and relevant authorities on HSE matters.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or industrial sectors is desirable.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow up and meet deadlines.
• Own private car.
