IT Business Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join its Technology team in Mauritius, supporting clients in the banking and financial services sector. You will work in a high‑performing environment delivering technology‑driven solutions for complex financial services organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from banking and investment stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business users to ensure effective solution delivery.
• Conduct data analysis using Excel, SQL or BI platforms to support decision‑making and assess the impact of financial products.
• Participate in implementation and testing of technical tools, including databases, analytical tools and workflow platforms.
• Support system integrations and ensure alignment with IT architecture.
• Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within investment banking.
• Strong understanding of financial and capital‑market products and services.
• Experience in IT transformation or data‑centric projects.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Willingness to learn, grow and contribute in dynamic project environments.
