Junior Commercial Executive (Sales & Business Development)

About the role

ABZ Group is seeking a motivated Junior Commercial Executive to support its growing portfolio of online platforms in Mauritius. You will work closely with senior commercial staff to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and contribute to the company’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential business partners and market opportunities.
• Initiate contact, present solutions, and nurture relationships with prospects.
• Assist in preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and finalising commercial agreements.
• Maintain a pipeline of leads and track progress against monthly and annual sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.
• Support ad‑hoc commercial tasks as directed by management.

Required profile

• Academic background in Communication, Sales, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous exposure to sales or business development is an advantage.
• Strong communication abilities in English and French.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good understanding of customer needs and commercial opportunities.
