Junior Commercial Executive (Sales & Business Development)

About the role

ABZ Group is seeking a motivated Junior Commercial Executive to support its fast‑growing commercial team in Mauritius. You will work on expanding the client base for Otayo and other ABZ platforms, gaining hands‑on experience in sales, business development and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities across the market.
• Approach potential clients and partners, establishing initial contact.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Assist in negotiations, contract preparation and commercial package design.
• Contribute to monthly and annual sales targets.
• Represent the company positively at networking events and industry gatherings.
• Support the commercial team with ad‑hoc tasks as required by management.

Required profile

• Academic background in Communication, Sales, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous sales experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Quick learner with the ability to think on your feet.
