Manager – Forensic Technology & Data Analytics

About the role

Deloitte Mauritius is hiring a Manager to lead the delivery of technology-enabled forensic, investigative and financial crime engagements. The role involves complex, high-impact matters where advanced analytics and data-driven solutions are used to identify risks, uncover actionable insights and support investigations, regulatory compliance and financial crime risk management. The position supports the Forensic Analytics practice locally and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of forensic, investigative and financial crime engagements
• Use advanced analytics and data-driven solutions to identify risks and uncover actionable insights
• Manage multidisciplinary engagements, budgets, timelines, resources and client expectations
• Design data pipelines, automate testing and monitoring and deploy analytics solutions at scale

Required profile

• Mandatory: proven ability to analyse large datasets and generate insights with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python or Alteryx
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.) for data management operations
• Ability to use machine learning and AI (LLMs, predictive modelling, network analytics, anomaly detection)
• Experience identifying anomalies, fraud indicators, misconduct patterns and control weaknesses through data-driven investigations
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of leading client engagements and managing multidisciplinary teams
• Desirable: international experience, remote collaboration with stakeholders in developed markets, and knowledge of global business practices

• Desirable: technology risk and controls assessment, strategic problem solving and commercial acumen
