Microsoft Fabric Consultant

About the role

The Microsoft Fabric Consultant will provide technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions across BIA Group entities. Working closely with functional teams and Data Stewards, the consultant will translate business requirements into robust data warehousing, lakehouse, and reporting architectures that support the company’s operational and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and deliver data‑warehousing, lakehouse, and reporting solutions based on approved specifications.
• Collaborate with functional teams through workshops to gather, clarify, and validate requirements.
• Provide effort estimates, target delivery dates, and design optimized BI reporting solutions.
• Deploy reports and BI deliverables on appropriate portals and platforms.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications in line with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting BI systems to ensure continuity.
• Maintain, correct, and enhance BI reports following best practices.
• Monitor data flows, perform corrective actions, and execute planned data load activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and implementing BI solutions for large organisations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience working in a project‑mode environment and handling maintenance activities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
