Outlet Manager

About the role

The Outlet Manager oversees the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets at Constance Le Chaland, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality service in a luxury hotel setting on the south‑eastern coast of Mauritius. The role requires a visible presence on the floor, proactive guest interaction, and close collaboration with the F&B Director and Assistant F&B Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily outlet activities, enforce brand standards and hygiene regulations.
• Handle guest issues promptly to maintain outstanding service levels.
• Work with the F&B Director and Assistant F&B Manager to create weekly schedules and deliver ongoing staff training.
• Plan, control and coordinate restaurant organization, staffing hours, public holidays, discipline and training.
• Monitor inventory, report breakage, and participate in scheduled inventory counts.
• Attend and contribute to daily F&B meetings, suggesting cost‑saving and profitability improvements.
• Ensure proper use of material and equipment, maintain cleanliness and set‑up before each service.
• Support recruitment, orientation, coaching and performance management of outlet staff.

Required profile

• Familiarity with procedures and standards of all hotel outlets.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Experience managing personnel schedules, training and disciplinary actions.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety and cost‑control practices in food and beverage operations.
• Ability to work closely with senior F&B leadership and contribute to profitability initiatives.
