Payment Controller - Treasury

About the role

Korridor is looking for a Payment Controller within its Treasury function, based in Mauritius as part of the Treasury and Finance team. The role ensures that funds are processed accurately, securely and on time across all operating regions, verifying, processing and executing multi-currency payments while keeping audit-ready records.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and process invoices and payment requests, load payments accurately across multiple currencies and check that every payment is complete.
• Pay suppliers on time and in line with due dates, meeting all finance deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Take ownership of the company's bank accounts, monitor and report anomalies in banking transactions and update bank statements for the services team.
• Maintain accurate records of daily payments and keep supporting documentation filed and audit-ready.
• Follow the payment process flow and Treasury SOPs, review current and new systems and resolve exceptions caused by system errors.
• Protect confidential information such as salaries, bonuses and advances, and support the Head of Finance and Treasury Manager on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2-3 years' proven experience in a similar payments, treasury or finance role.
• Eligibility to live and work in Mauritius.
• Good written and verbal English and ability to work under sustained pressure.
• Advantageous: experience across Sub-Saharan Africa or in a multinational, multi-currency environment, banking sector experience, and French or Portuguese.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with payment systems such as Kyriba, Treasury Express or bank internet-banking portals.
• Working knowledge of treasury management and multi-currency payment processing.
• Data entry, data management and intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and organisational abilities.
