Payroll Specialist III

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Payroll Specialist III to manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for assigned clients. The role ensures accurate, timely payroll execution while supporting tax, benefits, and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll cycles, including tax forms, wage attachments, and benefit deductions for multiple clients.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve payroll inquiries and provide subject‑matter expertise.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures and conduct quarterly document reviews.
• Own deliverables from start to finish, including quarter‑ and year‑end payroll audits.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to KPI achievement.
• Mentor new team members and escalate exceptions to senior staff as needed.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of payroll processing experience in the UK, US, or Canada, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, and tax legislation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to resolve complex client issues.
