Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

About the role

As Procurement Manager for Allianz Services Mauritius, you will lead the development and execution of the procurement strategy, ensuring effective sourcing, supplier excellence, and compliance with governance standards. You will partner with senior leaders to drive cost optimisation and support the organisation’s transformation journey while building a high‑performing procurement team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the procurement strategy aligned with global sourcing objectives.
• Develop roadmaps that support business growth, transformation, and operational efficiency.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities and contribute to budget and savings targets.
• Lead strategic sourcing and tendering for IT and non‑IT categories, manage contract negotiations and lifecycle.
• Oversee end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay processes, drive simplification, automation and digital adoption.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, conduct performance reviews and promote innovation, sustainability and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Allianz Group procurement policies, lead audits, and mitigate operational, financial, legal and third‑party risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading procurement functions within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in driving cost‑optimisation and managing supplier performance.
• Knowledge of governance, risk and compliance requirements in procurement.
