Reservation Agent

About the role

The Reservation Agent will be the first point of contact for guests booking their stay at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a luxury resort in Mauritius. The role focuses on delivering prompt, courteous service while maximizing room revenue through effective yield management and accurate reservation processing.

Key responsibilities

• Process all incoming reservations in the Property Management System (PMS) according to resort standards.
• Send confirmations, regrets and replies within 24 hours of receiving a query.
• File reservations and cancellations chronologically and maintain daily arrival lists.
• Re‑confirm bookings 60, 30 and 15 days prior to arrival to reduce no‑shows.
• Communicate special requests and instructions to relevant departments.
• Monitor house position daily and brief the Reservations Supervisor on occupancy trends.
• Ensure all rates are verified to avoid unauthorized rebates.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to high guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑morale environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a Property Management System (PMS) for reservations.
