Restaurant Hostess – Guest Services

About the role

As a Hostess at RIU Hotels & Resorts, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. You will support the dining team by managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining a high level of service throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record guest reservations and assign tables efficiently.
• Greet guests at the entrance of the dining area and escort them to their seats.
• Listen to guest concerns, report any complaints to the restaurant manager, and ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Coordinate the activities of servers and other serving staff to maintain flow.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Relevant hospitality experience is preferred.
• Good guest communication skills.
• Minimum high school education.
• Ability to speak a third language is an advantage.
