Risk Monitoring Analyst

About the role

As a Risk Monitoring Analyst you will join Checkout.com’s Risk Monitoring Team, supporting the day‑to‑day risk assessment of a global e‑commerce merchant portfolio. You will review alerts from internal monitoring tools, investigate potential fraud, and document findings to help protect both merchants and shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Review alerts generated by in‑house monitoring tools and perform detailed analyses.
• Conduct background checks on merchants using internal and external resources.
• Identify risky business practices and recommend risk‑based mitigations.
• Prepare and communicate risk reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Investigate suspicious transaction patterns and suggest appropriate actions.
• Document investigations and outcomes in the case‑management system.
• Provide feedback to improve monitoring processes and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk, Management, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar risk or fraud monitoring role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
