SAP Consultant / Senior Consultant - Technology Consulting

About the role

EY Mauritius is looking for an SAP Consultant or Senior Consultant within its Technology Consulting service line. The team helps clients develop new business processes that complement and leverage their technology ecosystem, turning SAP platform deployments into end-to-end change enablers. The role suits motivated people with a strong work ethic and a well-rounded skillset built on previous successful implementation lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities
• Initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, document and design the functional solution
• Liaise with stakeholders and the technical team to translate needs into business solutions
• Complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capability and strong business acumen, and consistently deliver quality client services
• Monitor progress, manage risk and keep key stakeholders informed
• Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computing, Information Security or a related field
• 1-5 years of experience with SAP ERP-based systems or SAP implementation is an advantage
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs
• Ideal candidates: 0-5 years of relevant experience in financial services or a comparable industry, post-graduate degree, prior consulting experience, SAP certification, and experience with at least one full-cycle implementation of a core module

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
• Comfort researching client inquiries, regulations, industry practices and new technologies
• Advantageous: experience in SCM, Finance, BTP or GRC
