Senior Art Director - Retail & Trade Marketing

About the role

Publicis Global Delivery is looking for a Senior Art Director to join an international creative team supporting global clients. The role develops retail and trade marketing experiences that bring brands to life in-store, through point-of-sale materials and other customer-facing touchpoints, combining strategic thinking with strong design execution. It suits a creative professional with conceptual thinking, retail marketing expertise and a passion for physical and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for retail marketing, shopper engagement and in-store experiences
• Lead the creation of POS materials, store branding, retail activations and window displays
• Translate brand strategies into customer-facing experiences and ensure consistent visual expression across markets and channels
• Create and adapt assets for digital formats, display advertising and performance marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with strategy, account management and production teams, and present concepts to internal and external stakeholders
• Support banner production and digital asset creation using Figma
• Mentor junior team members and stay informed on retail trends, shopper behaviour and emerging technologies

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an Art Director, ideally in an agency environment
• Strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking and high-quality design execution
• Experience in retail marketing, shopper marketing and point-of-sale communications
• Solid understanding of brand implementation across retail and digital touchpoints
• Fluent English; basic German is a plus

• Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
• Figma and digital asset creation
• Presentation, communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail

Nice to have: performance marketing creative development, knowledge of display advertising and banner production workflows.
