Senior Associate – Cost of Sales Operations (Reconciliations)

About the role

Join Checkout.com’s Cost of Sales Operations team to lead the end‑to‑end reconciliation and optimisation of global card scheme fees. As a Senior Associate you will translate complex cost drivers into actionable business insights and ensure the integrity of financial data across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the internal and external subject‑matter expert on card payment scheme fees across all regions.
• Identify systemic trends in fee data and provide contextual insights that drive business decisions.
• Act as the final validation point for scheme‑fee mapping and business requirements, ensuring audit‑ready updates to the Fee Prediction Engine.
• Translate technical scheme‑fee updates into clear business requirements for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and execute complex fee‑reconciliation solutions.
• Challenge existing processes, identify systemic risks, and align fee strategies with broader business objectives.
• Own or support projects related to scheme mandates and onboarding of new regions.
• Evaluate financial outcomes, reconcile predicted versus actual costs, and uncover data‑driven improvement opportunities.
