Senior Consultant - Data Architecture

About the role

EY's Technology Consulting business, within its Digital Business Advisory Practice, is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant in Data Architecture. The role suits a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise across the data lifecycle, from engineering and modeling to analysis and visualization. You will shape data strategy for clients, ensure high-quality data infrastructure and deliver actionable insights, mostly embedded with client teams. Regular local and international travel and occasional client-site work may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise data and integration reference architectures that decouple compute and storage and support real-time and batch data flows.
• Design data governance frameworks covering roles, policies and processes, and implement data catalogues, lineage and business glossaries.
• Design data quality controls and remediation (profiling, rules, issue management) across golden sources and downstream models.
• Help define standards for semantic models and Business Intelligence solutions so that insights drive business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in technology (MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems).
• 3 to 5 years of work experience.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale data solutions.
• Substantial experience in technology delivery at a consulting firm, cloud or digital solutions provider, or in an enterprise environment.
• Experience assessing migration approaches and recommending digital platform options, and in IT strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Agile, Cloud and Integration Architecture.
• Ability to lead meetings with client sponsors and management.
