Senior Investment Analyst

About the role

MCB Securities Ltd, a leading brokerage and investment solutions firm in Mauritius, is looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to support its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) franchise. You will work closely with senior management to deliver data‑driven insights and execute complex equity transactions that meet client capital‑raising objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform robust valuation analysis, financial modelling and transaction analytics while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assess market, transaction and regulatory risks, including investor sentiment and valuation sensitivities.
• Conduct targeted market and sector research, peer analysis and investor behaviour studies to shape ECM recommendations.
• Develop and maintain ECM valuation models and transaction benchmarks for pricing and portfolio analysis.
• Enhance ECM processes, valuation standards and documentation in line with listing rules and best practice.
• Monitor capital‑markets activity, macro‑economic trends, regulatory changes and competitor transactions.
• Advise the Managing Director and clients on ECM frameworks, market precedents and investor expectations throughout live transactions.
• Prepare investor presentations, prospectuses, roadshow materials and transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with research, legal, risk, compliance and marketing teams for seamless end‑to‑end execution.
• Coach and develop team members to meet performance standards.

Required profile

• Ability to synthesize large, complex, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
• Excellent multi‑mode communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in senior investment or ECM roles.
