Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly ambitious Senior Software Engineer to build systems that solve real problems at scale for short‑term rental operators. You will design, develop and ship customer‑facing products, automation engines, AI‑powered workflows and integrations that directly impact property managers, their teams and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications, services, and APIs for reservations, pricing, payments, guest experiences and property operations.
• Build event‑driven automation workflows such as cleaning scheduling, guest communications and owner statements.
• Develop AI‑powered systems using LLMs and AI agents for guest communication, maintenance triage and pricing support.
• Create robust API‑first architecture and maintain integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI and Google.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure on AWS to ensure reliability and performance at global scale.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of projects from problem definition through architecture, implementation, deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Experience with FastAPI, Python, React or similar frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a product mindset.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and operational efficiency.
