Supervising Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Supervising Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance teams across residential and commercial properties throughout Mauritius. This hands‑on leadership role combines supervision with a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance teams and manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and handyman tasks.
• Conduct site inspections, preventative maintenance, and quality‑control checks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials on site.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Level 4 Electrical Installation (MQA) or higher (preferred).
• Technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
• Previous maintenance experience; salary based on experience and skill level.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence; own vehicle is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or within a team.
