Technical Assistant – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Technical Assistant ensures that the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and up to the required standards through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all hotel facilities and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs professionally.
• Perform electrical maintenance, including inspections, equipment installation, and electricity consumption monitoring.
• Execute plumbing works such as water‑system upkeep, drainage, hot‑water system repair, and pipework maintenance.
• Conduct painting and varnishing tasks to preserve the property’s appearance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report non‑routine issues to the Supervisor.
• Minimise material waste and ensure proper use of tools and resources.
• Participate in training programmes and adhere to health, safety, and company procedures.

Required profile

• NTC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Welding, Painting, Masonry, or a related trade.
• 1–2 years of practical experience in a maintenance role.
• Basic proficiency in English and French with effective communication skills.

• Electrical maintenance (inspections, installations, consumption monitoring).

• Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
