Trading & Middle Office Associate

About the role

The Trading & Middle Office Associate will work on SCRYPT’s evening and weekend trading desk, covering the critical coverage gap across EMEA, APAC and LATAM. You will own trade execution, settlement and desk operations from day one, collaborating directly with senior traders and middle‑office staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quotes and execute OTC trades for clients.
• Manage and monitor the OTC Trading Desk, handling fund inflows and outflows.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlements of crypto and fiat payments.
• Resolve settlement issues and discrepancies with internal teams.
• Support liquidity management across departments.
• Act as product owner for new features and automation.
• Identify and grow upsell opportunities within existing client accounts.
• Maintain compliance with KYC/AML regulations.
• Produce trading activity reports and client feedback logs.
• Assist management with desk administration tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in institutional crypto trading or middle‑office functions.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the crypto industry and financial markets.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and make quick decisions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for a start‑up environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
• Familiarity with trading platforms and order types.
