Accountant 2 – Corporate Accounting

About the role

The Accountant 2, Corporate Accounting will independently handle low to moderate complexity accounting tasks while ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all assigned work. This position supports the broader finance team by applying relevant accounting standards and building knowledge of client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute core accounting operations such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entry posting, and transaction recording.
• Maintain assigned mailboxes, source documents, and records.
• Prepare and compile financial deliverables, including financial statements, working papers, schedules, and data for tax/VAT filings.
• Self‑review deliverables, complete required checklists, and resolve review comments.
• Support audit and regulatory activities by responding to audit queries and assisting with regulatory reporting.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members and support colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or ACCA Level 1 / ACA.
• Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Ability to work independently on moderate‑complexity tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
