About the role
As an Accounting Intern you will ensure costs are recorded under the correct expense codes, raise accruals and prepayments, and help present a true and fair view of expenditure. You may also be tasked with various ad‑hoc assignments supporting the finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Post expenses to the correct codes, raise accruals and query missing expenditures.
- Review ad‑hoc invoices, run duplicate‑payment reports and reconcile purchase order reports.
- Perform minor audit work such as invoice testing, material transaction checks and duplicate entry identification.
- Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual spend and handle property manager queries.
- Make adjustments in the accounting system (accruals, prepayments, transfers) and deliver project reports measuring SLAs and KPIs.
Required profile
- Minimum School Certificate (SC) with Accounting at O Level; ACCA/ACA qualification is a plus.
- 0‑1 years of relevant experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Service charge accounting software
- Knowledge of service charge accounting processes
- Minor audit testing (material transactions, duplicate detection, out‑of‑range invoices)
