Senior Accountant – Fund Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Fund Services team in Moka. You will support directors, managers and administrators while preparing complex financial statements and management accounts for a portfolio of fund clients.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for an allocated portfolio of clients, preparing final bookkeeping entries and complex reconciliations (investments, cash, VAT).
• Liaise with clients to ensure efficient delivery and meet service expectations.
• Review and coach junior team members, ensuring work meets Ocorian standards.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP and other relevant frameworks.
• Coordinate with auditors to complete audits on schedule.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent degree with relevant finance experience.
• 4‑6 years of experience preparing client accounts, preferably in capital markets, real estate or private equity.
• Strong technical accounting skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP (UK GAAP advantageous).
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Efront, Navision, ViewPoint and Value Financials.
• Understanding of real‑estate accounting is an advantage.
