Finance Team Leader – Global Accounting

About the role

Take the lead in delivering high‑quality financial reporting and accounting operations across a portfolio of international jurisdictions. As a Team Leader within the Global Accounting team, you will combine technical accounting expertise with people leadership to support business growth and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own accounting and financial reporting activities for a designated portfolio of jurisdictions.
• Deliver accurate management accounts, performance analysis and statutory accounts.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end reporting, balance‑sheet reviews and cash‑flow reporting.
• Partner with auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth audit and compliance processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting or a related professional services environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Proficiency with ERP and finance systems (e.g., NavOne, Caseware).
• Experience with statutory reporting, tax and VAT principles.
