Fund Accounting Manager – Private Equity & Real Estate

About the role

As a Fund Accounting Manager you will lead a team delivering fund accounting services to a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients. You will build strong client relationships, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the growth of both clients and the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients, delivering fund accounting, financial statements, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions and other reporting.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors and stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving issues.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, overseeing workloads, reviewing deliverables and fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of accounting records, reconciliations, tax filings and statutory reporting in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive operational excellence through planning, resource management, process improvements and automation of fund accounting processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fund accounting teams serving Private Equity or Real Estate clients.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to compliance and quality.
• Leadership ability to mentor staff and promote a collaborative environment.
