Junior Accountant - Client Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Client Accounting team. The role involves processing accounting records and preparing basic financial statements in line with IFRS or other applicable frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post final bookkeeping entries for financial statements and management accounts.
• Provide bookkeeping and accounting support to senior staff and assist with ad‑hoc projects.
• Assist in preparing client VAT, TDS and other basic tax returns.
• File financial statements, tax returns and statutory returns within deadlines.
• Prepare elementary management accounts and annual financial statements from client records.

Required profile

• HSC or equivalent qualification.
• Enrolled or in the process of enrolling in a professional accounting qualification.
• Willingness to learn NAV, Efront and Value Financials systems.
• Ability to learn IFRS and other relevant accounting frameworks.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
