Restaurant Hostess – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Restaurant Hostess welcomes guests at One&Only Le Saint Géran, ensuring a warm first impression and smooth flow of service. Working at a luxury resort, you will manage reservations, guide guests to their tables and support the dining team throughout each service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance with a friendly demeanor, eye contact and a pleasant appearance.
• Verify reservations, escort guests to their tables and seat them according to preferences and service flow.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring menus, drink lists and table settings are clean, complete and correctly arranged before each service.
• Handle guest inquiries, phone calls and special requests, providing accurate information about hotel facilities and restaurant offerings.
• Communicate any guest concerns to the manager and assist staff in resetting tables during busy periods.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and uphold the brand’s vision, mission and values.

Required profile

• Polished appearance and well‑groomed at all times.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use guests’ names and titles correctly.
• Flexibility to work in any restaurant within the resort when required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the assistant and restaurant manager.

Required skills

• Strong communication and telephone etiquette.
• Basic knowledge of reservation handling and table management.
