Restaurant Manager – Mauritius (South African Residents)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our fast‑food venue(s) in Mauritius. The role is open to South African residents willing to relocate and involves overseeing daily operations, financial performance, and staff management to ensure excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Organise stock, equipment, and order supplies while maintaining store cleanliness, security and hygiene standards.
• Take ownership of budgets, cost‑control measures and achieve sales targets set by head office.
• Monitor sales and expenses, prepare performance reports and report to area managers.
• Recruit, train and develop staff; coordinate schedules and motivate the team to maximise sales.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food‑handling regulations.
• Handle customer complaints, implement company policies and drive promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• 10+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Flexible working hours and ability to work onsite in Mauritius.
• Matric qualification; tertiary training advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to manage operating costs within budget.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and capable of delegating tasks.
