Senior Accountant - Fund Accounting

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to own a diverse portfolio of fund accounting clients while developing expertise across complex accounting, financial reporting and client service activities. You will work closely with colleagues and management to deliver high‑quality financial information, build strong client relationships, and support the growth of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of fund accounting clients, ensuring delivery of high‑quality accounting and reporting services.
• Prepare and review accounting records, complex reconciliations, management accounts and financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards and deadlines.
• Partner with clients and auditors to facilitate smooth financial reporting and timely audit completion.
• Respond to client queries, resolve issues and help clients meet their reporting obligations.
• Review junior team members’ work, provide guidance and support their professional development.
• Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing and best practice initiatives within the team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accountant with experience in fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and complex reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative, client‑focused approach.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proven capability to mentor and develop junior team members.
