Claims Assistant

About the role

The Claims Assistant will support the Claims Department in processing motor insurance claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with insurers and clients. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Verify policy status, coverage, terms, conditions, and exclusions for motor claims.
• Register and follow up on motor claims according to company procedures.
• Liaise with clients to collect required claim information and supporting documents.
• Monitor claim progress, update clients regularly, and coordinate vehicle replacement where applicable.
• Maintain up‑to‑date claim files and monitor timelines, escalating delays when necessary.
• Provide administrative support to the Claims Department as needed.

Required profile

• HSC qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar claims or insurance support role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent time‑management, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
• Positive customer‑service attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
