Head Steward – Resorts (Mauritius or overseas)

About the role

The Head Steward leads the stewarding team at a Club Med resort, ensuring that all guest areas are impeccably clean, well‑stocked and operated efficiently. You will be the key point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and respect Club Med standards to guarantee consistent guest experience.
• Control costs, manage breakages and minimise waste.
• Oversee supply chain for detergents, small hotel supplies, and F&B dishwashing materials.
• Maintain accurate inventories and prevent supply disruptions.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures across all stewarding activities.
• Coordinate contracts with service providers and ensure compliance.
• Lead, motivate and develop the stewarding team around shared objectives and behaviours.
