Invoicing Officer

About the role

The Invoicing Officer will support the billing function by ensuring accurate and timely processing of client invoices and related reporting. Working closely with the Head of Billing and internal teams, the role contributes to financial accuracy, month‑end activities and continuous improvement of billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review client invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.
• Allocate recoverable expenses, record payments and generate invoices for distribution.
• Monitor staff timesheets, produce exception reports and support accurate time‑recording practices.
• Prepare billing recovery reports, assist with trade debtor follow‑up and contribute to month‑end reporting.
• Act as a primary contact for billing queries, collaborate with operational teams and promote best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce billing cycle times.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Proactive attitude towards process optimisation and problem solving.
• Experience in supporting month‑end and reporting activities.
