Application Developer – Python & OpenAI

About the role

Dayforce is looking for an Application Developer to join its Advanced Solutions team. You will focus on Python and OpenAI technologies to build AI‑driven tools, especially chat‑bot solutions, that improve support processes and enhance the Dayforce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype and develop AI‑driven applications using Python and OpenAI, including chatbot functionality.
• Own the full software lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing and support.
• Collaborate with clients, implementation partners and internal teams to define and deliver required features.
• Create and enhance scalable enterprise applications while assessing risks and system impacts.
• Work closely with teammates to devise innovative solutions to complex problems.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of OpenAI capabilities.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with modern web technologies and object‑oriented languages.
