About the role
We are seeking an Executive to support corporate administration functions, focusing on board governance, statutory compliance and client operations in Mauritius. The role will act as a liaison between the board, regulatory authorities and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of administrative tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining company records, facilitating board meetings and overseeing compliance with local and international regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Organise board meetings, prepare board packs and attend meetings to capture action points.
- Draft simple and complex minutes and resolutions.
- Maintain statutory registers and file required documents with the Registrar of Companies.
- Perform due‑diligence activities in line with local regulations.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Mauritian and international laws, including timely reporting.
- Implement internal control procedures and monitor adherence.
- Manage client operations such as opening and maintaining bank, custodian and broker accounts, processing payment instructions and responding to queries from authorities (FSC, MRA, ROC) and service providers.
- Oversee bookkeeping and accounting record maintenance for client companies.
- Carry out any other cognate duties assigned by the reporting line.
Required profile
- Degree in Management, Business Management, International Business or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- 2‑3 years of experience in a similar corporate administration role within the global business sector.
- Familiarity with statutory filing and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
