Senior Accountant

About the role

Axian Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the preparation of complex group accounts under IFRS. Reporting to the Group Chief of Accounts/IFRS Manager, you will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting for the holding companies and support the wider finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for Axian Group Holding Companies in accordance with IFRS.
• Produce management accounts and ensure they are delivered on schedule.
• Reconcile inter‑company balances monthly and implement robust reconciliation processes.
• Lead accounting system implementation projects.
• Compute tax liabilities, monitor tax regimes, and file annual and periodic tax returns.
• Assist auditors during fieldwork and address queries related to financial statements.
• Coordinate, coach, and train junior team members.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Accounting degree or substantial progress toward ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an audit firm.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines.
