Senior Accounts Manager (SVP) – Fund Accounting

About the role

The Senior Accounts Manager (SVP) leads end‑to‑end delivery of fund accounting portfolios for Apex Group in Mauritius. You will be fully accountable for accuracy, timelines, client service and internal controls across NAV production, filings and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery of NAVs, client reporting and regulatory filings, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs.
• Perform final review and sign‑off on NAV calculations, management and performance fees, investor transactions, wires, middle‑office communications, financial statements (IFRS/GAAP) and tax computations.
• Act as primary client contact, manage queries, expectations and issue resolution to maintain a high‑quality client experience.
• Lead audit, tax and compliance interactions, ensuring AML/KYC documentation is complete and audit points are closed promptly.
• Oversee Account Managers and their teams, allocating work, monitoring deadlines, and escalating risks.
• Control fund wires, subscriptions/redemptions, fee settlements and maintain integrity of financial flows.

Required profile

• 10‑14+ years of experience in fund accounting.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent.
• Proven track record of delivery ownership and senior client handling.

Required skills

• Fund accounting and NAV calculation.
• IFRS and GAAP financial reporting.
• Tax computation (PAYE, TDS) and filing.
• AML/KYC compliance.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing Global Business Companies (GBCs).
